The Consortium creates conditions to enhance the lives and make possible the dreams of people living with disablities and/or with the impact of abuse. Our ultimate goal is for communities to welcome and value differences in a safe and just world.

The Consortium articulates trends, theory and practice and influences critical thinking by examining assumptions and imagining as well as implementing alternatives.

We support consumers, policy makers, staff advocates, families and friends in their efforts as agents of change.
