About The Practitioner, Karen Adams

Karen R. Adams is a Five Element acupuncturist who trained at the College of Traditional Acupuncture in Leamington Spa, UK. She is fully licensed with the state of Massachusetts, and has a Diplomate in Acupuncture from the NCCAOM. She is also a graduate of Oxford Brooks University, UK, and the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.

Karen became interested in acupuncture after being treated herself. She was fascinated by the effects of acupuncture and how it left her feeling better both emotionally and physically than she had ever felt. Karen offers Community Style acupuncture, treating in groups in order to make acupuncture affordable and so more available. She recently traveled down to New Orleans with Acupuncturists Without Boarders were she donated her services to hurricane survivors and relief workers.
